Specialized Exhibition of Iran Future Cities

The cities have been one of the key topics of interest to academic researchers, policy makers, and the governments. In many countries, an important part of public resources and business and research activities is directly related to innovation in this area, So that researchers believe that cities play a crucial role as engines of economic growth and employment opportunities, as places of connectivity, creativity and innovation, and as centers of services. A recent World Bank report shows that improving the competitiveness of cities can help eliminate extreme poverty and promote prosperity for all citizens on the planet. Countries are facing with many challenges for economic growth and one of the best ways to avoid them is through more innovation. Various challenges in health, security, energy, the environment requires innovative solutions. Creating science and technology parks and smart cities in countries are common tools for the revitalization of cities. Cities are the engine of economic growth and the research of Ministry of Housing and Urban Development of Iran show that the percentage of urban population in Iran is more than 73 percent while the world average urbanization have been reported 60%.
